Great call with Fireball for Ian Paice - One of the most unrecognized great drummers in rock and roll.Xanadu - while a classic, I feel is not as technically difficult as some of their later efforts. The genius of Neil, is that he makes the complex sound very simple. Revisit the Counterparts album and try to recreate some of the drum patterns he uses, such as on Animate. You gotta be a drummer to appreciate it :0
Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) is another technical wiz....
