Re: Aleph 30s rule, man

Yup...I think this "may be the one" for me! I had previously purchased a Cary SLI-80 that had a flaky bias and a hum that I could not get rid of. I sold it and bought the Aleph and so far haven't looked back! I built a passive linestage to go with the Aleph. The only component I have connected to it is a pro model Marantz CDR and it has more than enough voltage to drive it. So at the moment I don't need pre-amplification; although I am curious what sonic differences there would be between the balanced and unbalanced inputs of the Aleph.
