My Matrix has six outlets just like the standard Stealth. I think the new outlets are made by Hubbel. The unit is the same size as the original but the front and rear panels are now metal. It also has three small cone shaped feet. I've heard the Matrix uses twice the amount of specially treated silver wire internally and also incorporates some new technology that Audio Magic borrowed from NASA. I'm sorry but that's about all of the info I have at the moment. Hope it helps.
