I believe Bob is correct, each manafacture makes his top product to what he feels is the best. I paid less than $800 for the Sharks I bought from Brian and concidering the competion thats a bargan. No one else uses Platinum wire to make powerchords because of the cost. Platinum has its own unique sound as does copper and silver but overall I believe Platinum to to be Superior to either in this application. The shark does so many things right and creams my King Cobra which retailed for 2K. All of the other superchords have a retail of between 2-6K each and only use copper or silver in various mixes. Untill you hear the Glory of pure Platinum you dont know what your missing: ONE SAD NOTE: Brian at BMI will no longer be selling the Shark direct anymore effective 11-01-02. The far east has negotiated for a complete buy out of total production for the next 6-9 months of all sharks. They will no longer be offered for sale in the United States. Unlike many overly hyped cable companys out there Brian makes every Shark by hand himself using very pure and high quality metal purchased from Jewelers. I am just thankfull I got the (6) Sharks I have. Asia will be in for for Platinum Delight soon. Enjoy the Music not the Hype. John
