Sorry,When I write any thread I often write it off the cuff and tidy it up afterwards. Unfortunately, this statement fell outside of the body of the post and was not appropriately edited.
I truely meant no disrespect to Chinese or those who make Chinese goods (I realize it does not seem that way from the text).
I was only commenting on the ubiqutous presence of Chinese manufactured goods in our society. One of the exotic aspects of equipment we own is the specialty nature of its design, development and manufacture. I feel that the presence of a "common" tube manufactured in China belies this concept.
Yes it is purely vanity and it may be the best sounding tube but couldn't they have found a nice tube from....Eastern Europe?
