I agree with you about this beauty -- I have one too -- clean, very quiet and excellent sensitivity. I bought it new about 20+ years ago and would not sell it for less than 400.My other tuner is a Magnum Dynalab 101, which is sweeter and more rounded...but then I think the 101 is among the most underrated of all the tuners on ToonerDood's list. I have heard many tuners over the last 25 years and owned quite a few. Only one or two produced superior sound in my experience, including the more expensive MDs.
