Thanks for the comparison. I replaced the output op amp, the EQ filter and the rectifiers in my L-07T and I think it helped the resolution issues you mention. As an aside, around here (the Seattle area) it's quite easy to hear differences in the signal from various stations on most any good SS or tube stereo tuner. KPLU has good dynamics but a rotten low frequency growl in the background that makes you think your deMUX is FUBR, KING has a slight phasiness and hiss that can intrude and makes you reach for the mono switch at times, and any mainstream format station compresses and limits the s__t out of the signal.

I admit to having given up on FM except for classical driving/background music and the killer blues shows on KPLU on the weekends. Around here my gnarly old mono Telefunken Salzburg with expander circuitry is sometimes the best alternative for FM listening. Bummer. At least it's still better sounding than the junk you have to listen thru for DMX! Gotta hack that digital cable box someday...
