If so, then that's typical. I have a 3 year old Sherwood receiver, and again, the instruction manual did not state output power. I'm guessing that my receiver is about 45-50wpc as my speakers are rated about that themselves. The combo works well and sounds great.FWIW, I am using a pair of vintage early 70's Sansui SP 1700 3 way speakers w/ this unit.
