I've heard this so many times ... proponents of this don't seem to understand that speaker & room cause such massive distortions that saying source is the most important is being penny wise, pound foolish.

I was told by my local dealer that this is the predominant European (or may be just English) POV, while in US most of us seem to think Speaker+room is more important. Wonder if thats true ?
