I've not tried any optical cleaners that have the sonically arresting effect of the Auric Illuminator. The purity and presence I experienced after applying this lotion sounded almost like when I upgraded my McCormack Solid State amp to the Cary 300SEI Single-ended Triode amp.
As the grit from jitter cleared away, I just started to feel the shape, position and blowing/bowing/hitting of the individual performers and musical instruments in a significantly more vivid way.
The music-making sounds very much more liquid continuous and analog, less jagged and stiff.
I would not fully recommend the black pen included, though. It seems like my former EMC-1 CDP already had its anti-infra-red reflection measure throught the use of an internal blue LED, so the black pen just contributed a smoothening and loss of air to the sound.
Its only $34 for 200 CDs!
