If use a lower end transport (my DVD player) into the Dragon and then to my DAC via I2S am I still likely to see an improvement vs. the AES/EBU connection on my higher-end transport?Yes! But the Dragon is not exactly cheap, it lists for $1695 (worth it though).
BTW, the Dragon has inputs for i2s, coax, toslink, AES/EBU and AT&T optical.
