Its an eminently practical product

well supported and essentially plug and play. A transport only version with linear power supply would be nice and presumably at a lower price.

It's extremely difficult, however, IMHO to compete with Raspberry PI based transports near this price point. Some DIY involved but provides only what you need for a small piece of change. I have one just as backup to the main streamer.
