RE: looking for a DAC that will take a HDMI digital signal and output to analog with RCA connectors

First, almost all quality audio DACs will expect either PCM and/or DSD audio and cannot decode things like dts or DD. Fortunately, most sources (not all) will decode them and provide suitable output. Check yours.
