ML No.39 DAC capabilities?

A while ago I posted about my tribulations with my venerable ML No.39 which now works beautifully. However, the prompting from other inmates did push me to acquire a Naim Unitiserve and rip my CDs to FLAC. This old bit of Naim has proven to be a convenience I never thought I needed. Flipping through my collection on my phone and playing whatever without getting off my backside is great.

I run the unitiserv into the ML No.39 DAC and I get a sound I enjoy with great convenience.

While being a bit of a luddite in regards of streaming I have been enjoying using Amazon music on my phone to some bluetooth speakers when I am in my kitchen. I like the "stations" on there which are simply someone else's playlists. With a recent upgrade to fibre for my internet I can now consider streaming content and I would like to explore Tidal, Qobuz and Amazon HD but here comes my question.

Do any of you know if the DAC in my ML39 can handle the HD streamed input?

I have a Bluesound Node 2i on it's way that I will use as the route to access HD content and yes it has a DAC but I would like to continue to use my ML39 DAC if possible.

In amongst this I am procrastinating on whether to change my ML383 amp to an ML5805 or a NAD M33 which would solve the whole DAC issue as I would simply use my ML39 as a transport into the amp which comes with a DAC. But I would prefer to audition the amps prior to buying and COVID precludes this hence the interim solution.

Depending on the performance of the amp phonostages I would sell my Tom Evans Microgroove X, ML383 and potentially the unitiserve as I have the FLAC files on a NAS.
