Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

When I play either streaming (with Audirvana) or from my hard drive (with or without Audirvana) I get a strange distortion, almost like flutter. It is a subtle gargling kind of sound. I do have a USB cable at the limis of USB length, but wonder what else this might be.
I do not hear it on FM or Vinyl.
I am no longer using my class D amp
