... and it was responsible my original post. There was something just not right about the audio quality - it was obviously jitter, the curse of digital!!
25m of Canare cable on its way to improve the situation!
An interesting postscript - when I contacted Canare I gor a reply from Japan!!!! Anyway I was able to buy the cable in Australia from Swamp Industries.
What can be more subjective than music? It reflects our personal tastes and preferences.
