Devices which show no signs of life usually have some sort of primary power supply problem. Those are often the easiest circuit problems to troubleshoot. While I can't make a particular recommemdation, it wouldn't surprise me that most any competent TV/General Electronics repair shop could at least troubleshoot the power supply. That said, I would first persist in contacting EMM Labs. They likely simply have a less than rapid constomer service operation - if so, shame on them. Given the cost of your unit, I would be very hesitant to have anyone work on the unit aside from EMM. Can you not take it to the dealer from whom you purchased it?
