aac or mp3?

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

I never mess with this low-rez stuff, but I have to convert a file for a friend to submit a recording for his high school band. We want to submit the highest quality possible. The only type files he can submit are mp3, aac or m4a. Which one is the best quality? Thanks in advance for your input.

I'd go for m4a - it can contain the Apple Lossless (ALAC) format, which would be best quality mentioned [nt] - Chris from Lafayette 00:24:26 04/13/17 (0)
