put it this way with a CD player like you have I would stick to it.
I found nothing on Tidal worth it, even Deezer Elite for me at lossless sounds ok, but nothing beats the CD.
Perhaps we are starting another "nutter" situation, similar to how I view the Vinyl types. I stick to digital, CD specifically, perhaps perfect sound forever.
I do like the masters, if everything was that way I wouldn't say anything :)
