If you have not tried the newer Raspberry Pi they also support Roon as well as LMS. Very inexpensive and Very Hi Quality! Most likely a Newer RPi with Picoreplayer will sound better than a Bluesound Node 2.I have bought 4 Raspberry Pi this past month. I am now using PiCoreplayer with the RPi's --- The Newer Rpis with Picoreplayer are much improved over the Hdw and Software I used about 4-5 years ago.
