Clearly you're a follower of my mentor, Clark Johnsen, who I gratefully acknowledge was the first to alert me to the critical importance of polarity in his book "The Wood Effect". We all stand on the shoulders of past greats as Einstein acknowledged about Newton and others that preceded him. But while Clark made the most important fundament point that absolute polarity is critically important to fidelity and musicality, I must respectfully disagree with him about some of the details.
It's not all that difficult to verify the polarity of every analog component in my audio system, so my polarity listening judgments are not confused by anything extraneous.
