This is the point at which, AN(UK) starts to use double C core transformers. It clearly sounds more analogue than the 2.1 Sig.
In general, it is wise to pair AN DACs with AN transports, meaning probably a CDT Three.
There is also a one box solution, the CD 4.1x, but it will not match the DAC 3.1 Balanced + CDT Three and there is hardly any room inside the 4.1x to upgrade much.
AN is pretty far out of the modern mainstream when it comes to DAC, especially with respect to jitter control on which many are focused. They use no special technology to control jitter, the argument being that the cure is worse than the disease.
In the end, though, if you have a very hi-end vinyl set-up and are addicted to the sound, it may be hard to find a digital cure at any price.
Good luck.
