The Delta is good for the price, but I had much better results, including bass, with my old Micromega Trio top-loading transport, at a MUCH higher price. I recall the Mazda tube synergizing well at the time, but when I now compare Mazda with my other 12AX7/5751's, I see that it has a "fast," tight sound, which would ameliorate some of Alpha's tendencies.
