Re: Rega Apollo - slightly strange glitch, any thoughts?

Problem has been solved, or at least a workaround has been found. It is the %$#@!!! copy protection scheme that Reprise Records uses. Solution is to download Isobuster from http://www.isobuster.com, extract the *wav files from whatever weird format Reprise stored them in on the original CD, and then burn a new CD with the *wav files. Works like a charm.

Apparently this is a known problem with some of these Reprise CD's... what still bugs me is why I got a food digital stream out of the same disk with my CAL transport. But it seems that the problem is more Reprise's fault than Rega's.
