Re: Lavry DA10

As for the sound of the Lavry, mine did NOT have the slightly artificial highs and haze that surrounds some instruments which I have heard from upsampling units. It is not quite as smooth in the highs as my Wavelength Brick NOS DAC. I sold my Lavry a short while ago since I did prefer the Brick anyway. Also, the Brick makes for a much simpler Apple Mac based system.

I didn't realize there was a change to the unit itself. I thought it was a text clarification.

It seems Lavry did some revisions to the board over the last year. The impresssion I got from the DIYAudio thread was that one of the revisions must have quietly made the switch to SRC, without any changes to the manual. The change in the manual only came AFTER the DIYAudio thread controversy.
