I was pretty thorough with my questions. And I did speak with him over the phone. Unit tracks fine. Doesn't have any issues at the end of the disc regarding skipping. Plays CDR's. The photos show a pristine player, except for silkscreening on two buttons. Even the remote looks good. Seems to me at this age, it's an excellent example of the breed.Wonder if JVC still has replacement laser's? It would be good to know. Some of these old machines can go and go and go. I have a friend with a Kinergetics that is from the same era, and it never has even hiccupped.
Well I hope to have it in the next day or two, we will see how this all plays out.
