Weird question, but I ask because I have a Sony CD77ES CD player that I really like the sound of, but the thing is very sensitive to vibrations that I can't even feel. Namely, bass hits. None of my other CDPs are affected like that, even cheapy players. I've even placed a 3/4" thick mat underneath to no avail. My turntable doesn't have a problem with bad vibes, so why should my CDP?I don't remember it as always being that sensitive, but maybe I'm cranking it up louder than I used to.
Cheers,
Bobbo :-)
