that makes sense to me 990 and TDA1541

GL, your never-ending posts on polarity are a craziness!

This one though makes sense to me. I have a DAC that uses a single 1541 and a Sony CDP990. In the system that uses the DAC, the preamp inverts, but things have never sounded right with the speaker connections reversed to compensate. I just figured so what, it sounds better without reversing them so that's the way they'll stay hooked-up.

The system that has the CDP990 has always sounded pretty good, but not as good as it ought to. Never knew the 990 inverts, so I reversed the speaker connections and that fixed it.
