I was speaking as a technical person :) But still it's a matter of personal preference...

Whether or not Lavry has good jitter rejection (and I don't have a reason to think they don't) the real point is that TOSLink and S/PDIF are both inherently jitter prone interfaces and putting a DIP in the middle (even if it worked perfectly) can't fix things up nearly as well as using a different interface or doing serious work in the DAC.
