The Monarchy will give you a bigger bottom but not much more focus in the upper frequencies. That's my experience, anyway. I have found the Camelot Dragon jitter filters to be far superior—and more expensive, natually. The Dragon Pro offered a night and day difference in resolution and focus when used with various Cal Labs products. I think the Monarchy is still a bargain, however.
