This doesn't fit the toploading criteria but the Aiwa XC-37M is a cd changer that had a (6 inch X 6inch) window on top that let see the spinning cd. The cd isn't in the center of the window, you can see a good portion of the spinning cd. You can view a lit clamping system that was slightly angled.I don't know if is still made but I see them on ebay. (There are 3 currently (March 23, 2007))
