Recently auditioned CEC TL-0X transport and compared it with dcs Verdi transport. DAC used was a combo of dcs Purcell/Elgar Plus. The TL-0x is better. The timbre is very similar. CEC has slightly better detail and better presence in the midrange. But the best part of it was its speed/tempo. After hearing the CEC, the dcs transport sounds slow and lazy. That's the best way I can describe the differences between them.
