Yeah, I thought about doing just that, but then I thought of all the flac :) I would get because of the variables you are discussing.BUt I suppose that if I left the room and turned on and off the antivirus, that maybe it would be enough if I took many many recordings and just compared the parts where the antivirus was on and off.
If I could make say 5-10 recordings with no differences just to show that the recordings were faithful, then maybe this would work before trying the antivirus.
