Thanks for the words of caution. When I spoke with Kyle at Reference Audio Mods (RAM), he mentioned that the wiring harness work is pretty difficult work and that it should be left for experienced modders.I upgrade speaker xover networks and also upgraded my CDP. I do the basic mods such as swapping out caps, resistors, diodes and internal wiring.
Based on my conversation with Kyle at RAM and your comments, I'm only going to swap out some caps and diodes. I'll leave the stock wiring alone. I'm also going to line the inside casing with ERS cloth.
