One thing to consider with cd vs. download is the long-term storage of this music. We all have had instances of data loss on our computer at some point, whether due to hw problems or carelessness or whatever. What happens as technology changes??? What do you do when you get caught in the constant upgrade cycle? What will you do when Bill Gates decides that Rev A should now be called WOW! and btw, it isn't backwards compatible? And what happens when Bill has a pissing match with Steve Jobs?I still have all my LPs from my 60s/70s college days. Will you still have all of your digital downloads?
