Funny you should mention that. I posted a similar remark on another forum about how lossless doesn't get the leading edge of notes quite as well as uncompressed, and several posters refused to accept my assessment. I will admit that it is very close & unless one listens to a lot of acoustic music recorded in a representitive perspective it may be a non-issue . I guess you could say lossless doesn't completelly live up to it's name .
