I am building a power supply for an audio alchemy DDE v1.2 DAC.I found a reference to a company that built an aftermarket PS for this (Monolithic) that claimed +/- 18V 2A (analog) and +/-8v 1A (digital).
3A's seems like a whole lot of current for a DAC.I am building a simple LM317 supply and don't want to mess around with cans and force cooling.
What is a reasonable current load to use to spec my powersupply?
