Thank-you for all of the useful information. I have access to some very well-designed tube buffers (Space-Tech Labs), or I can have what is purported to be an excellent tube output stage installed (Underwood/Pcx). It sounds like the one inside makes more sense. Unfortunately, the one that makes the most sense is about $900 more expensive. Oh, the woes of the audiophile!The player is a Denon 3910 with Level 1 mods and LC Clock upgrade.
