Using the volume control on the amps will work fine except that it might take some fiddling each time to get the balance correct. This is similar to my set up. Mono amps with stepped attenuators directly on the amp inputs. The nice thing about the stepped attenuators is that they click to a repeatable setting so I can set any level and always be in balance. I will be interested to hear back from you about the Europower amps as the A500 was supposed to be the new audiophile quality amp from Behringer but doesn't sound that good. An Audiosource AMP1 or AMP2 (not AMP100) will sound much better in the same price range. The Eurosound is more of a live sound monster but that doesn't mean that it couldn't sound better than the A500. No way to know but to give it a try.
