HowdySRC === Sample Rate Conversion (either synchronous or asynchronous)
SSRC === Synchronous SRC ("Simple" up/down sampling by "small" integer ratios, the output clock is derived from the input clock in the exact inverse ratio)
ASRC === Asynchronous SRC (Up/down sampling by a essentially arbitrary ratio, input and output clocks are independent (or at least not related thru the SRC device))
The link you provided is pretty clear that the Lavry is ASRC and SRC :)
