Linn Majik CDP NOS DAC?

Hi:

The Linn Majik CD player got a very positive review from Art Dudley in the current (March) issue of Stereophile. It also performed very well in JA's test measurements. This sentence in the review got my attention:

"The precise nature of the Majik's D/A conversion scheme is not published, apart from the fact that its sampling frequency is 44.1khz."

Are they saying that it uses a non-oversampling (NOS) DAC? Thanks.
