I put the disc under magnification in high intensity light and found 3 teeny nicks less tha a mm long at about the place on the disc where I assume track 4 exists. I can believe that these almost invisible marks would make a difference, but they are there and so is the problem.Can these be repaired if the damage doesn't go into the aluminum, i.e is there a plastic coating one can dab on the damage, or would the problem only occur if the aluminum had been damaged?
