Another thing to consider about the Masterlink: the capacitors in the power supply crapped out on me after only 5 years of occasional use. My tech tells me that it is very common. Not really that big a deal, but it was a $100 repair I wasn't expecting. I don't know if this is any worse than one can expect from other price point pro audio gear, but it didn't leave me with a great impression of their build quality.
