Cd Players with valve diodes?

Does anybody know the Slovak CDP Elgar CD 1, or the Jas Musik 1.2 CD Player?

Both these players have a diode valve in the HT.

The CDP Edgar http://www.edgar.sk/ has four valves in the output, while the Jas has one valve. www.jas-audio.com.

La Edgar was wel received by Polish hifi magazine at http://www.highfidelity-online.com/!ev/artykuly/09_11_2006/edgar1.html

La Jas Canadian and HongKong Jas wall well liked by the Italian Hifi magazine at http://www.videohifi.com/20_3cdp.htm

There is also the DIY Tentlabs machine that has a valve diode. Have any of you had experience with this? This was described at http://www.tentlabs.com/Products/diycd/assets/test CD speler ME UK.pdf
