When the Tosh 3950 has the RAM mods including the superclock 3 it becomes very easy and relaxing in its presentation with a quick detailed bass. the music has a continual easy effort in flow like my vinyl...I like mine very much and on my Newform Research speakers a bad player would have nowheres to hide its faults....what I believe you'll never get from a 3950 even modded is sheer bass weight like say a Sim player or any of the "big boys"....IMO, I'm only reporting what I heard in my system....every system is individual. cheers, lloyd
