Tony Cordsman on digital equalization in Jan TAS

He's reviewing an expensive TacT unit, and for those of you with that unit, great! For others (like me) with the "lowly" Behringer DEQ2496, it is a very interesting article, especially the discussion of graphic equalizers and the Fletcher-Munson curves. If I am reading it right, Cordsman recommends digital eq tailoring of your system's response to pretty much suit your ears--with comparisons to live music. And so if you can't play it as loud as the abs sound, play it lower, but eq it to sound good (like live). To me this seemed like quite a position for a mainstream reviewer, and I am following his advice as best I can with my DEQ.
