CDP Problem Help Needed

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

I have a nice Onkyo CDP that skips like mad when the deck is level but plays great if I lift the front of the deck 1". What is the problem causing this? It seems like an easy fix but I'm electronically challenged. Can anyone figure out and solve the internal problem with this deck. It' a really good one. Thanks for any help on this, it will be apreciated.
