I've got the Minimax CDP it is a nice sounding unit especially for the price. I found out it sounds a lot better with Amperex 6DJ8s in it than the tubes it comes with also a must are isolation cones of some sort they really make a difference. I had the Minimax while I had a Wadia 861B although the Wadia had better resolution the Minimax didn't get embarased it has a nice warmth to it also. Another great thing about the Minimax to is the fact it has a headpnone jack that sounds VERY nice.
