Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Re: Still in stock everwhere

Yes, we've talked about this before. I've had my SB3 for almost a year now, and also used it more for internet radio. I had started transferring my CDs to flac via EAC, but ran into problems with some cds. I thinking it might have been the drive I was using, but probably just operator error. Kinda dropped the ball, switched gears and concentrated on building up my HT speaker system.

This last Christmas, Santa brought me an Ipod Nano. So I decided to give it a go again, this time with itunes and Apple Lossless. Both the exporting and labeling seemed to go so much easier, sound quality (from just memory, no a/b tests)) appears to be just as good.

Now that all my favorite discs are on HD, I even ordered a new DVD burner (the new external Plextor) and a 250 gig external HD, for redundant backup.
So on to the digital upgrades!
