This is now an old-hat topic, but I've acquired a s/h transport with black plastic psu. Unfortunately, the chord has disappeared into the woodwork after a house move. Audiomecaa aren't responding to e-mails, and there are no dealerships left in the UK. Am I to believe this is just an ordinary M to F 9 pin RS232 serial cable that is normally used to connect a modem or printer? Does anyone have their original after upgrading to an aftermarket alternative?
I can't get my head round the concept - this cable connects a transport to a power supply, yet the cable is a data cable...How does it work?
